At that time, there were many eldery craftsmen who didn't rely on data or standard book. As they work by intuition, I had difficulty to work with them. ◇Things that are difficult and rewarding at work◇ I feel my work rewarding when I can feel the growth of Philippino workers. |

Lauron Purchasing and Logistics Supervisor | "The difficulty of job is worth challenging, since it’s not only useful for the company but gives me life learning skills." ◇Job Responsibilities◇ Purchasing and Logistics Supervisor ◇The reason I joined this company◇ It was 2014 that I have heard that a new company would invest in PEZA namely Showa Create Cebu, Inc. and they were looking for officers to start the business. Since I had experience from previous employers, I thought I was qualified and could contribute to the new company. Luckily, the Management had accepted my application and until this moment I am part of the organization. I do believe that every organization has its own uniqueness in managing the business. I was interested in the new company and what they could offer to me and help me in improving my capabilities. Also, it was my pleasure to showcase my skills to the company and support them to achieve the goals. ◇What I felt after joining the company◇ When I joined the company, I had mixed emotions since the company was starting up. At first I was anxious for my work and afraid of deciding which one to follow. But through the guidance and trust by the Management, I have overcome that feeling and I learnt a lot from my work. I have been working for this company for many years, I am grateful, pleased and satisfied. ◇Things that are difficult and rewarding at work◇ Each job is hard and difficult in any different ways. For me, Legal matters is one of the most difficult tasks in the Purchasing and Logistics.There are set of laws to follow and must coordinated with the Legal Counsel. But this kind of work also gives me eagerness to learn new things and it can be beneficial to me. The difficulty of job is worth challenging, since it’s not only useful for the company but gives me life learning skills. |
 Ryan Maurin Heyrana Quality Control Supervisor | " The most rewarding part of my work was when our GM trusted me with confidence to lead the Quality Control Department." ◇Job Responsibilities◇ Quality Control Supervisor ◇The reason I joined this company◇ A year after I left from my previous job at Manufacturing company, I was searching for a job and found Showa Create Cebu, Inc.. I applied and luckily, I was hired and joined the SCCI family in May 2017. I joined SCCI family because I found out that it was a new company at that time, so, I wanted to learn new knowledge, processes, and to expand my experiences in the manufacturing field. And also, I wanted to apply what I had learnt and experienced in my previous employer if was applicable and if it could be any help in the growth and development of Showa Create Cebu, Inc. ◇What I felt after joining the company◇ As months went on, I found it interesting to work for this company because there were a lot of things that was new to me, or I might say, different from my experiences. I felt challenged and overwhelmed specially on the time when our GM trusted me to lead the Quality Control Department. I accepted the responsibility and tried my best with confidence. I was QC Head at first and promoted to the QC Supervisor. Since that time up until now, I am still doing my best as the Quality Control Supervisor of SCCI family. ◇Things that are difficult and rewarding at work◇ Being the leader or the supervisor of the department is already hard and difficult for me because I always need to bear the high expectations from your members top management. But the hardest part is how to control and manage your temper to be a good example for the team members in terms of the implementation of the Company Rules and Regulations. Also, taking care of all members with different personalities is difficult, too, but I learned a lot of new things from my colleagues and tried my best. The most rewarding part of my work was when our GM trusted me with confidence to lead the Quality Control Department. |
 Lee Richard Chu Production Leader | " Showa Create Cebu, Inc. was perfect place which allowed me to explore a new skill and gave me a safe space to hone it." ◇Job Responsibilities◇ Production Leader ◇The reason I joined this company◇ I came to know Showa Create Cebu, Inc. through neighboring companies. Showa Create Cebu, Inc. was just starting and hiring its pioneering workers. I applied for a regular position and was thankfully hired as a ‘’Press Operator’’. I wanted to try my hands at learning another useful skill. Showa Create Cebu, Inc. was perfect for this. The company allowed me to explore a new skill and gave me a safe space to hone it. ◇What I felt after joining the company◇ I felt challenged in the new work environment. Of course, I was happy to join the company as a pioneering employee, but mostly I was excited to try new skills and management. ◇Things that are difficult and rewarding at work◇ The trickiest part of my job is the pressure to meet the deadline of delivery. The rewarding part of my job is when my department efforts come to fruition and are acknowledge by the top management being able to accomplished targets, pass quality control and accommodate orders is satisfying as a production leader. |
 Jigger Atis Production Leader | " I am happy and proud of feeding my family with my hardwork and being a part of SCCI’s growing." ◇Job Responsibilities◇ Production Leader ◇The reason I joined this company◇ I heard that Showa Create Cebu, Inc. was in need of production operators when I was working for previous company. I visited and submited my application letter at the guard house. A few days later, someone called me for an exam and interview. Luckily, I got hired and started working for SCCI. At that time, I really wanted to apply for other companies because my previous company’s business was going down, which affected my daily income. And then I heard SCCI needed new workers and without hesitation, I pursue and grab the opportunity. ◇What I felt after joining the company◇ Since I started working for SCCI, first thing I felt was pressure. Of course, there were a lot of things I needed to adjust. I still feel pressure now but can bear the pressure because I consider all tasks and hardworks as challenges. Honestly, I don’t want to feel like I’m tired because I am happy and proud of feeding my family with my hardwork and being a part of SCCI’s growing. ◇Things that are difficult and rewarding at work◇ I think there are a lot of difficlt things in my job. It was so hard for me to hurt them with my word even for handling someone’s behavior and attitude. So I carefully think and try to make the best opption. Also, it is difficult to balance my work and my family. There are many things that I learnt through my work. If we say pressure, I earned patience and courage. In times of problems and troubles I earned knowledge and determination. Hard work and challenges I earned self-motivation and respect. |
