Also, dealing with troubles of press machines are my responsibilities. ◇The reason I joined this company◇ I was introduced to this company by the school ◇What I felt after joining the company◇ When I joined the company, there were many elderly craftsmen. Their guidance sometimes felt strict. Also, I felt that they were not careful to keep things tidy in the factory. ◇Things that are difficult and rewarding at work◇ After experiencing various departments, I returned to the production technology department. Young employees joined the company after me, and the atmosphere of craftsmanship disappeared. It has changed to an easy-to-speak workplace. And we, young members’ motivation to keep the work place clean and tidy changed whole factory. Now, die, press, post-processing and mass production all by ourselves I feel that it is worthwhile to make a product from the drawing that our customers give Showa, and plan it from die through pressing and post-processing. |

The current work is about half of the mold design and half of the on-site work. ◇The reason I joined this company◇ I majored in mechanical engineering at university and was looking for a manufacturing company. ◇What I felt after joining the company I was assigned first to the assembly team for a month, then to the sales team for a year. At that time, everyone in the sales team was in their 20s, except for the manager. I felt that there were many young people. ◇Things that are difficult and rewarding at work◇ After working in the sales team, I was assigned to the production engineering team. Mold design does not go as expected and can be difficult, but by repeating trial and error, I'm happy to have a product as I planned. In addition, when the product I made from dies got a big order, I'm glad to think that the product I made is useful for someone, somewhere. |

Office work is 60% and on-site work is 40%. ◇The reason I joined this company◇ Since it is a company where graduates of my school was working, I decided to join the company. ◇What I felt after joining the company I experienced assembly work for the first six months, then moved to the press team. I thought it would be difficult to operate the machine, but I enjoyed the work where there are many people of the same age. ◇Things that are difficult and rewarding at work◇ With the limited machines and personnel, it is very difficult to meet the quality and delivery term to client needs. However, when a subordinate learned the operation methods and could do the work by himself, I felt happy. And besides, I was deeply moved that I could feel that way as a boss. |

Through the development of a product and manufacturing, I found a joy to make something myself. Unfortunately, I didn't win a prize at that time, but I started to seek a workplace where I could make products. When I was looking for a job, the career center of the college introduced this company. ◇What I felt after joining the company◇ After joining the company, I first trained in all the departments and was taught about manufacturing. What I felt was that everyone was kind and polite and taught me the work nicely. ◇Things that are difficult and rewarding at work◇ Detailed settings are required depending on each product and mold. If the numbers are different even a little, the timing of the machine will not match and you will not be able to make the intended product. I was impressed with the depth of the press machine, but I found it challenging and fun. |

I am also in charge of trading operations such as creating invoices, arrange shipments for import and export with a subsidiary in the Philippines. ◇The reason I joined this company◇ I came to this company because I wanted to make products. ◇What I felt after joining the company◇ Initially I was assigned to the press team, and then production control, warehouse, packaging. What I felt after joining this company was that there were many young people and lively, easy-going atmosphere. ◇Things that are difficult and rewarding at work◇ Since I interact with people of all ages, from young people to veterans, their way of thinking or doing work is different sometimes. So, I am keep in mind to maintain good communication and teamwork. |

Also, I manage the material inventory. ◇The reason I joined this company◇ I was introduced to this company from my school. ◇What I felt after joining the company◇ I was assigned to the assembly from first. At first I was nervous, but there were some staffs with the same age I was, and it was easy to get in touch with everyone as they were very friendly. ◇Things that are difficult and rewarding at work◇ I like to assembling things steadily, remembering the names of various products and inspection procedures. So it is very rewarding for me to be able to meet the delivery date of the product, by getting the knowledge and working efficiently. Also, by working silently and intensively, the number of production is increased than yesterday. Achieving the goal, I feel a sense of accomplishment. |
